When CTG National needed their Isuzu box truck to match the professionalism of their IT services, they came to AZ Rag. The result is a full commercial wrap in a bold black and blue design — printed on 3M materials built for the demands of daily commercial use. Here is what went into it and why it works.
What CTG National Needed
CTG National operates in the IT industry, and their vehicles needed to project the same qualities as their business: precision, reliability, and a polished presence. A fleet vehicle that blends in is a missed opportunity. A branded vehicle that looks sharp on every job site, in every parking lot, and on every highway is a tool that keeps working around the clock.
The goal for this build was clean, bold, and built to last. Black and blue with strong graphics — the kind of design that reads clearly at highway speeds and still holds up on a close inspection.
Material Selection: Why We Use 3M IJ175cv3 and 8518 Laminate
For commercial vehicle wraps, 3M IJ175cv3 is the standard we return to on most installations. It is a premium cast vinyl engineered to conform to complex vehicle surfaces without lifting or distorting over time. Cast film is more dimensionally stable than calendered alternatives, which matters on a box truck with body lines, rivets, and panel transitions.
The 3M 8518 gloss overlaminate locks in the printed graphic and adds UV protection. On a commercial vehicle in daily service, that UV resistance is what keeps colors from fading after thousands of miles of sun exposure. The gloss finish also makes the design read with more depth and intensity — which is exactly what you want with a black and blue color scheme.
AZ Rag is a 3M Preferred Installer through the United Application Standards Group (UASG). That certification means our installers are trained and held accountable to 3M’s own standards for surface preparation, film handling, and application technique. On a commercial build like this one, that matters.
The Installation
A full box truck wrap covers significant square footage and includes flat panels, corrugated sections, wheel wells, and door seams. Each surface requires clean preparation and careful application to ensure the film bonds properly and the graphic stays aligned across panel breaks.
The black and blue design was printed full coverage, with graphics that carry consistently from the cab to the rear. The finished result is a truck that reads as one cohesive brand statement regardless of which angle you see it from.
The Result
CTG National now has a fleet vehicle that works as hard as their team does. Every mile this truck runs is an impression for their brand — in parking lots, on job sites, and in traffic. A well-executed commercial vehicle wrap does not require any ongoing budget after installation. It simply keeps performing.
That is the ROI case for fleet wrapping that business owners and fleet managers come back to. You pay once, and the vehicle advertises for years.
