The Build: A Drifter’s Canvas
Louie’s C6 is a staple in the Southeast drifting scene, featuring a host of performance upgrades designed to keep it sideways and screaming. As a professional installer and a pillar of the drift community, I needed a look that was both professional and aggressive—something that would pop under the track lights and stand out in a cloud of tire smoke.
The Wrap: 3M 2080 High Gloss Citric Acid
I chose the brand-new 3M 2080 High Gloss Citric Acid for this transformation. This isn’t your standard yellow; it’s a vibrant, electric hue that demands attention.
What sets this specific film apart is 3M’s latest “High Gloss” technology. Traditional gloss wraps often suffer from “orange peel” texture, but the new 2080 High Gloss series offers a mirror-like finish that genuinely rivals high-end automotive paint.
