At AZRagIPS, we thrive on projects that push the boundaries of both performance and aesthetics. Our latest shop exit is a perfect example: a Nissan G35 drift machine that doesn’t just scream on the track, it demands attention before the tires even start spinning. This isn’t your average G35; it’s a purpose-built monster featuring a Chevy LS-based swap topped with a massive supercharger, and it needed a visual identity to match that raw American horsepower.
The Design: High-Contrast Aggression
When designing a wrap for a drift car, you have to account for motion. The goal was to create a livery that looks fast standing still and creates a striking “blur” of color during a high-angle slide. We settled on a high-contrast palette of teal, white, black, and grey.
The teal provides a sharp, modern pop against the neutral tones, while the deep blacks and greys add a layer of “grit” and mechanical depth. By utilizing sharp geometric transitions and bold color blocking, we ensured the car has maximum visibility on the track. Whether it’s under the stadium lights or in the midday sun, this high-contrast scheme ensures the sponsors and the car’s lines are impossible to miss.

The Materials: 3M Performance and HP Precision
A drift car lives a hard life. Between the heat of the engine bay, track debris, and the occasional “rubbing is racing” moment, the material choice is critical. For this project, we utilized 3M IJ175—a premium printable film known for its excellent conformability and slideability during installation.
To give the colors that extra “wet” look and provide a heavy-duty layer of protection, we finished the print with 3M 8518 Gloss Overlaminate. This combination is the gold standard for racing liveries, offering superior UV protection and a high-gloss finish that makes the teal and white truly jump off the panels.
The entire kit was brought to life on our HP 800W printer. The “W” stands for White, and that’s the secret sauce here. Using the HP 800W’s high-opacity white ink allowed us to achieve incredibly crisp, saturated colors and sharp transitions that traditional CMYK printers struggle to replicate. The result is a professional, paint-like finish that holds its integrity even under the stress of a drift season.
Power Meets Style
Under the hood, this G35 is all business. The LS swap provides the reliable, low-end torque needed to initiate, while the large supercharger ensures there is plenty of top-end power to keep the rear tires vaporized. It’s a brutal setup, and we are proud to have provided a “skin” that matches that intensity.
At AZRagIPS, we don’t just wrap cars; we help drivers define their brand. This supercharged G35 is now ready to hit the circuit, looking every bit as fast and loud as it sounds. If you’re looking to take your build to the next level with a custom-printed livery, come see us at the shop.
