Most race cars today are wrapped using the same vinyl we use on our commercial and color change installs. AZ Rag Installations and Print services have a huge passion for motorsports and we enjoy the opportunity to work on projects such as this Corvette.
This Chevrolet came to us ready to take its look to the next level. To start off the process we came up with a concept designed by, in-house artist and owner of AZ Rag, Louie. The mock-up of the design gave the customer a good idea of what the final product would look like allowed him to make any changes before printing.
The rear half of the car features a gloss printed vinyl of the design, while the front half of the design features 2 different shades of matte grey vinyl. For the stripes on the front, we used a technique using a special tape to cut them out and added the stars for a final touch of detail.
