Admiral Detailing runs a mobile operation, which means the van is the storefront. It parks in driveways and lots where potential customers see it up close. The brief was simple: make it look high-end, make the brand readable at a glance, and make sure the contact info and services are impossible to miss. For a detailing business built on the promise of protecting a customer’s investment, the wrap itself had to signal that level of care.
A commercial vehicle wrap was the right call over simple lettering. Lettering tells people your name. A full graphic wrap tells them you are serious, and it gives the brand room to breathe across the whole vehicle.
The Design and Material
The design keeps a deep black base and layers vibrant cyan, magenta, and violet energy lines that rake across the body and doors. The Admiral Detailing logo sits large on the hood and both rear quarters, with the service list, social handles, and a scannable QR code placed where they are easy to read when the van is parked. The color against black gives it depth without looking busy.
This is a printed wrap, not a stock color film. The graphics are printed on cast vinyl and finished with a gloss overlaminate that protects the ink from UV fade, road grime, and the wash cycles a detailing van will see constantly. Cast film is the right material here because it conforms to the body lines, door seams, and recesses of the City Express and stays down for the long haul. Cheaper calendered vinyl would shrink and lift at the edges within a season.
Installing a Commercial Wrap on the Chevy City Express
The City Express is a compact cargo van with plenty of flat panel to work with, but the payoff is in the details. Every panel is cleaned and decontaminated, then the printed sections are aligned so the graphics flow unbroken from the front doors through the sliders to the rear. We wrap the edges into the door shuts and around the handles so nothing is left exposed to peel. Bumper curves and the recesses around the lights take patient heat forming to lay flat with no bridging. The Result
The finished van looks like a rolling ad for exactly the kind of work Admiral Detailing does. Sharp, clean, and protected. The brand reads from across a parking lot, the contact info is one glance away, and the gloss laminate means it will still look this good after a year of mobile work.
