The Cybertruck already turns heads. AMS Construction wanted it to turn heads and generate leads.
This build combined a custom fade wrap, in-house branding design, and front window tint into one cohesive package that makes their Cybertruck look like it was spec’d this way from the factory floor.
What AMS Construction Was After
AMS Construction & Fine Woodworking came in with a clear goal: a work truck that markets the business every time it pulls onto a job site or hits the highway. They wanted their brand front and center without covering the Cybertruck’s signature stainless finish completely.
The solution was a fade design that works with the truck’s angular geometry. Matte black runs across the cab and upper body, fading down to the factory stainless panels below. The tonneau cover is wrapped in matte white to give the AMS Construction branding a clean, high-contrast surface to live on.
The Wrap Design
We designed the fade in-house. The Cybertruck’s flat panel geometry actually makes it well-suited to bold graphic work. There are no compound curves to fight, but the sharp edges and panel transitions still demand precision. Getting a clean fade across those angles takes careful planning before the first panel is laid.
The tonneau cover branding includes the full AMS Construction logo, company name, phone number, and a QR code. The layout is direct and readable at a distance, which is exactly what a service company needs on a vehicle that spends time in driveways, parking lots, and job sites across East Tennessee.
Window Tint to Complete the Look
The Cybertruck’s rear glass comes factory tinted. The front windows do not. We added window tint to the front to match the rear, pulling the whole truck together. It is a detail that sounds minor until you see the before and after. A mismatched window line breaks the visual flow of an otherwise sharp build. Matching it was the right call.

Wrapping a Cybertruck
The Cybertruck has a reputation for being a challenging wrap surface, and it is. Stainless steel prep is different from painted surfaces. The flat geometry is forgiving in some ways and unforgiving in others. Sharp edges require extra attention to ensure long-term adhesion and clean termination points. As a 3M Preferred Installer, we carry the same installation standards on every Cybertruck build that we apply to any premium wrap job.

Why Commercial Wraps Work
A well-executed commercial wrap generates thousands of impressions per day with no recurring cost. For a trade business like AMS Construction, that is advertising that compounds over time. Every drive to a job site is a brand impression. Every truck parked in a neighborhood is a referral prompt.
