Tree service companies in East Tennessee run some of the most visible equipment on the road. Trucks, chip trucks, trailers, and aerial equipment move through residential neighborhoods and commercial properties constantly — and they attract attention by default. A tree truck working a neighborhood is hard to miss. The question is whether that visibility is working for your brand or doing nothing.
Why Tree Service Fleets Are High-Value Wrap Targets
Tree work is seasonal and weather-driven, which means demand spikes after storms, high winds, and ice events. When a storm moves through Knox or Blount County, homeowners are searching fast for tree companies. The ones they recognize — because they have seen their trucks in the neighborhood — are the ones they call first. A branded fleet builds that recognition passively on every job, every route, every time the equipment sits parked at a work site.
Tree service also has a strong referral component. A homeowner who watches a crew take down a large oak cleanly and professionally is going to tell neighbors who did the work. A branded truck and trailer on the job site makes that referral easier — the neighbor saw the name, they already know who to call.
We have done fleet commercial wraps for tree service and outdoor service operations in Knoxville, including a two-vehicle fleet wrap on a pair of Toyota RAV4s for a local service company — consistent branding across both units, ready to roll.
Equipment We Wrap for Tree Service Fleets
- Pickup trucks and crew cabs — the primary service and supervisor vehicles. Full wraps or spot graphics with company name, phone, website, and services. The truck is usually the most visible branded asset on a residential job site.
- Chip trucks and dump trucks — large flat panels on the box make these some of the best print surfaces available. A full panel graphic on a chip truck is readable from two blocks away. If you are going to wrap one piece of equipment in your fleet, the chip truck is often the highest-impression choice.
- Enclosed trailers and equipment trailers — trailers parked at a job site for a full day are stationary billboards. A wrapped enclosed trailer with your company name and phone number is doing marketing work for the entire duration of the job.
- Utility vans — used by larger tree service operations for equipment transport and crew movement. Full wraps and spot graphics both work well.
What to Put on a Tree Service Wrap
Tree service wraps lead with company name and phone number — the two things a neighbor needs to write down when they see your truck. Services list (removal, trimming, stump grinding, emergency service), license and insurance callouts, and a website round out the standard package. For companies targeting commercial accounts, adding “Commercial and Residential” or “Licensed and Insured” to the design addresses the first question large property managers ask before they call.
We produce all commercial graphics in-house on 3M IJ175CV3 film. As a 3M Preferred Installer, every commercial print job is MCS warranty-eligible — system warranty covering film, inks, overlaminate, and installation. On qualifying MCS claims, 3M in most cases covers both materials and labor.

Tree Service Fleet Wrap Questions
Can you wrap equipment that gets dirty and scratched on job sites?
3M IJ175CV3 with overlaminate holds up well to normal outdoor commercial use — mud, dust, and weather contact are not a problem. Deep scratches from branch contact or equipment loading will damage the film the same way they damage paint. The practical approach for tree service equipment is to wrap the cab and box panels where the film is protected from direct contact, and accept that lower rocker panels and bumpers on work trucks take abuse regardless of whether they are wrapped. We will tell you at walk-around what makes sense to wrap on your specific equipment.
We run seasonal crews. Can we wrap a few trucks before the busy season?
Yes. We do not require fleet minimums. One truck wrapped before spring storm season is a legitimate job. If you want to add more units later, we keep the design files and match new units to the existing fleet exactly.
Do you wrap trailers?
Yes. Enclosed trailers are one of our better print surfaces — flat aluminum panels with clean edges. Open equipment trailers are typically not wrapable due to the surface material, but the tongue box or any enclosed storage units on the trailer can be wrapped. Let us know what equipment you are bringing and we will tell you what is wrapable at the quote stage.
