If you run an HVAC, plumbing, or electrical operation in Knoxville, your vans are your business. They carry your tools, your product, and your brand on every route, every day. Getting a new vehicle road-ready — shelved, racked, and wrapped — typically means coordinating two separate vendors, two drop-offs, two pickups, and two invoices. AZ Rag does both in one shop.
Commercial Van Upfitting in Knoxville

We install Ranger Designs van organization systems; shelving units, ladder racks, solid floors, and accessory packages, on the vans trade service companies actually run: Mercedes Sprinters, Ford Transits, and RAM ProMasters.
Ranger Designs builds purpose-built van storage systems used by trade professionals across North America. The product is engineered for working vans, not retrofitted consumer shelving. If you have looked at van upfitting before, you have likely already come across the brand. We are a local installer.
Every upfit is quoted per vehicle based on the configuration you need. There are hundreds of SKUs across the Ranger Designs line, and the right setup depends on your trade, your tools, and how your technicians work. We walk through that with you before anything is ordered.
Wraps and Upfits Together — Why It Matters
Most trade service companies handle wrapping and upfitting as separate projects with separate vendors. That means the van is out of service twice — once for the upfit, once for the wrap — and you are managing two schedules, two invoices, and two sets of follow-up.
When you book both with us, that changes. One drop-off. One pickup. One point of contact. And when wrap and upfit are booked together, we extend a combo discount that neither vendor working separately can offer you.
For a fleet manager trying to get vehicles on the road as fast as possible, the time saved is the real value. The discount is a bonus.
What We Install
Shelving Systems — Modular van shelving configured for your trade. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical each have different tool and material storage requirements. We spec the layout to match how your technicians actually work, not a generic template.
Ladder Racks — Interior and exterior ladder rack solutions for vans carrying pipe, conduit, lumber, or ladders on every job. Properly installed and load-rated for daily commercial use.
Solid Floors — Protective flooring systems that give you a clean, durable work surface and protect the factory floor from tool and equipment damage over the life of the vehicle.
Vehicle Wraps and Graphics — Full wraps, partial wraps, and spot graphics that put your brand on every panel. A wrapped, upfitted van that leaves our shop is ready to work and ready to be seen. Who This Is For
We work with single-vehicle operations and full fleet accounts. There is no minimum scope. A one-truck plumber who needs a Transit shelved and wrapped gets the same attention as a 20-van HVAC company rolling out a new fleet.
Fleet accounts receive a volume discount. Combo jobs, upfit and wrap booked together, receive a separate combo discount regardless of fleet size. Both discounts can apply to the same job.
The vehicles we work on most: Mercedes Sprinter, Ford Transit, and RAM ProMaster. These are the platforms most trade service companies in East Tennessee are running, and we know their configurations well.
What It Costs
Upfitting is priced per vehicle based on the Ranger Designs configuration you select. Wraps are priced per vehicle based on coverage and complexity. There is no way to give an accurate number without knowing your vehicle, your trade, and what you need inside.
The fastest way to get a real quote is to fill out the inquiry form below. Tell us your vehicle type, your trade, approximately how many vehicles you are working with, and whether you are interested in wraps, upfitting, or both. We will come back with an estimate to get the process started.
