Custom Spot Graphics on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in Knoxville: Meet Piglet

Piglet sunflower spot graphics Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Knoxville TN

Some builds tell you exactly who the owner is before you ever meet them. This Jeep Wrangler Rubicon came in with a hot pink factory finish and a clear brief: Piglet, sunflowers, and make it feel like the design always belonged there. What came out of the shop is exactly that.

A Design That Knows What It Is

The sunflower cluster runs from the front rocker panel up through all four doors, wrapping in flowing black vines with lime green leaves and deep pink blooms. The Piglet character from Winnie the Pooh sits near the front doors on both sides, rendered in a flat-color style that reads cleanly against the factory pink. On the hood, a single sunflower sits above the fender. On the rear glass, “PIGLET” is spelled out in Disney-style script with the P formed around Mickey ears.

Every element was designed to feel like it belongs to this specific truck. The pink-on-pink approach could have disappeared into the paint, but the black outlines and yellow-green leaf color keep everything legible and graphic at any distance.

What Goes Into a Job Like This

Custom spot graphics start with design. The sunflower cluster has to be laid out as a flowing composition that works across panel breaks, scales correctly for a Wrangler’s door proportions, and reads well from across a parking lot. The Piglet characters are contour-cut so the edges follow the artwork, not a rectangle.

We printed these on 3M IJ175cv3 cast film and laminated with 3M 8518 gloss overlaminate. Cast film follows the curved surfaces of the Rubicon’s door panels without bubbling or lifting at the edges over time. The gloss laminate keeps the colors saturated and protects the print from UV fade and everyday wear.

Installation on a lifted Rubicon involves working around flared fenders and body armor details that a stock Wrangler does not have. The panel transitions require extra attention to ensure the vine pattern reads as one continuous design even when the doors are open.

Why Spot Graphics Work on a Build Like This

A full color change on a factory pink Wrangler would undo the one thing that already makes this truck distinctive. Spot graphics work precisely because they add to what is already there. You get the personality without losing the paint.

We have been doing character-themed builds on Wranglers for a while in Knoxville. The Battle Cat Wrangler Willys we finished recently takes the same approach in a completely different direction. If you want to see the range of what is possible on a Wrangler, the Jeep Wrangler wrap guide covers everything from rocker panel accents to full color changes.
