The Tesla Cybertruck is unlike anything else on the road. Its angular, geometric body and brushed stainless steel exterior make it a statement from the factory. But stainless steel is not paintable through conventional methods, which means vinyl wrap is the primary way Cybertruck owners personalize their trucks with color. The results, when done right, are something people stop and photograph.
AZ Rag has wrapped five Cybertrucks to date. Each one is different. Here is a look at all of them.
Why Cybertruck Owners Wrap
Paint does not adhere to stainless steel the way it does to traditional automotive body panels. For Cybertruck owners who want color, a different finish, or a branded look, vinyl wrap is the correct solution. A quality wrap also protects the stainless surface from minor abrasion, UV exposure, and road debris. When you are ready to return to stock, the film comes off cleanly.
For business owners, the Cybertruck’s flat panel surfaces and bold silhouette make it one of the most visible vehicles on the road. Lettering and branding read clearly from a distance.
Build 1: Full Satin Black
Satin black on a Cybertruck is what you think it would be. The angular body panels absorb the finish, the stainless trim lines disappear into the black, and the result is a fully blacked-out truck that feels more like concept art than a production vehicle. This is the most requested finish we see on Cybertrucks. The satin sheen keeps it from looking flat while avoiding the high-maintenance nature of gloss film on dark colors.

Build 2: 3M Carbon Fiber with Commercial Graphics
This Cybertruck came in for a full wrap in 3M IJ175cv3 carbon fiber textured film, paired with a blue vinyl accent stripe and bold commercial lettering for a local sports training facility. The combination gives it a distinctly aggressive, purpose-built look. Carbon fiber vinyl adds visual texture without adding weight, and the matte black tone of the material complements the Cybertruck’s angular lines. As a 3M Preferred Installer, AZ Rag uses genuine 3M materials applied to the manufacturer’s own standards.

Build 3: Gloss Green Eddie Bauer Edition
This build was inspired by the classic Eddie Bauer edition Broncos from the 1980s and 90s, known for their signature green and the badge on the door. The owner brought that concept to the Cybertruck with a rich gloss green wrap and a custom Eddie Bauer emblem on the rear panel. The contrast between the gloss green film and the raw stainless steel trim creates a two-tone effect that feels intentional and refined rather than loud.

Build 4: 3M High Gloss Military Green
This is a full color change wrap in 3M High Gloss Military Green. The finish has a slightly muted, tactical quality that reads as military green in direct sunlight and shifts toward a deeper olive in shade. On the Cybertruck’s large, flat panels, the color lands with real presence. It is one of the more understated options in this lineup, but understated does not mean unnoticed.

Build 5: Satin Thunder Cloud with Gloss Black Accents
This two-tone build pairs a satin blue-grey film called Thunder Cloud with gloss black accents across the lower panels and fascia. The contrast between the two finishes and their interaction with the stainless trim creates a layered look that photographs differently depending on the light. It is one of the more refined builds in this lineup.
